Black Panther II Begins Filming: Remembering Chadwick Boseman

Phase 4 is in action. A treat to all fans, MCU has finally started filming Black Panther II. An action-packed adventure movie released in the year 2018, the character was first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the movie “Captain America: Civil War”. It instantly became everyone’s favorite character. Chadwick Boseman filled T’challa’s shoes perfectly. Also, the Black Panther Sequel is never going to be the same without Chadwick.

Kevin Feige confirmed the shooting status. He said that they have started working in Atlanta. He said that its been very emotional without Chad although there is excitement in the air about bringing back the world of Wakanda to the fans. Kevin also said that it would be done in a way that would make Chad proud. The sequel will feature Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, and Angela Bassett in their original roles.

In February 2018 “Black Panther” was released and the characters instantly became close to all of us. Black Panther garnered $1.34 B in earnings across the globe. It was also Marvel’s highest grossing ‘non-avengers’ movie of all time. Black Panther received Seven Academy award nominations. It also won the Oscars for best score, costume, and production design.

Theories revolving around Black Panther II

There are some speculations that the Black Panther mantle might pass on to Shuri. Shuri, the Princess of Wakanda leads the Wakandan design group. There is no Marvel movie without a villain. Rumors say that Namor the Sub-Mariner can be the film’s primary villain. There are chances for the Fantastic Four to establish their close relationship with Wakanda and their rivalry with Namor.

Killmonger just appeared in only one movie. But all the other villains in the MCU usually have a storyline beyond one movie. So, the fans want this villain’s storyline and there are chances for him to make his return in Black Panther II. As we all know, most of the movies in phase 4 are based on Multiverse. Be it Spider-Man 3, Loki, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and possibly Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. So, there are chances for Black Panther II also to have this concept.
